Malaysia spends $6.2bn on Software, Services and Hardware each year (IDC), and that number is expected to grow to $8.1bn over the next 2 years. With a population of over 28 million (Economist),and the use of English in business, Malaysia is a country that Irish companies find to be very accessible and we feel that more Irish companies should be looking to Malaysia as a market in itself- and as a base for regional marketing activities.

Even with these opportunites, it can be intimidating for Irish companies to start out in the Malaysian market. Which is why the Malaysian Irish Business Network (MIBN), in cooperation with us  Enterprise Ireland are  leading a business delegation of key Malaysian buyers and decision makers to Ireland on June 6th to 11th.

The mission will cover a range of sectors including ICT, Software, Telecoms, Medical devices, Cleantech  and Education. There are interesting participants joining the delegation and Enterprise Ireland will be involved in arranging individual schedules for the visitors during the week in Ireland to allow them to meet with Irish companies and explore opportunies.

More details on the people you could meet are below; If you’re interested get in touch via your EI  Development Advisor.
