Eureka is a pan European network for market oriented, industrial research and development. As the National Program Co-ordinator for Eureka in Ireland, I get enquiries from the Eureka network seeking Irish companies to participate in R&D projects. We currently have a request from an Israeli company who is looking for partners in Ireland for collaboration in the area of text to speech technology, through the Eurostars programme.
Eurostars is the first European funding and support programme to be specifically dedicated to research-performing SMEs. Eurostars stimulates SMEs to lead international collaborative research and innovation projects. The Eurostars mission is “To support R&D-performing entrepreneurs, by funding their research activities, enabling them to compete internationally and become leaders in their sector.”
