Update: Registration for the conference is now open

The bringing together of regional clusters of companies focused on specific technology and/or market sectors is seen as an important solution to improve competitiveness and increase productivity. It’s good news, then, of the announcement of a one day conference in Belfast in early May.

Bridging Borders will gather – from a variety of regions, including across Ireland and Paris, France – clusters of ICT and Digital Content technology companies in order to outline the most efficient benefits of best practices and collaborations. In tandem with this is a focus on the application of software development and digital content technologies to expanding solutions that address market sectors such as Green Energy, Smart Grid, Financial Services and Telecommunications (including mobile).

Supporting agencies for this conference include Enterprise Europe Network (which highlights opportunities that the European market place presents) and, from Paris, cluster facilitation organisations Systematic and Cap-Digital.

The conference takes place at The Holiday Inn, Belfast, on May 5th, from 9am-4pm. Admission is free, but numbers are limited. All email enquiries to Debbie Vance here with more information availabel on the Bridging Borders LinkedIn group. (more…)
