Business Continuity Management Symposium
Posted by on 1 February, 2011 in Event | Links - (Be the first to comment)Who really knows what the elements will throw at us these days? We’ve all heard of crisis management, but what happens when a crisis – or disaster of some kind, such as flooding or extraordinary high winds – really does occur, and you’re left with little or no business action plan?
Enter BCM (Business Continuity Management), a management standard process that identifies potential circumstances that could disrupt a business or organisation. The ability to continue operating in the event of a crisis is crucial to businesses of any size – not to mention their customers and stakeholders. To this effect, the BCM Symposium will take place in Dublin on Thursday February 3rd.

Organised by EI Client Certification Europe, attendees will learn about the benefits of certification to the business standard, hear from organisations recently certified to the standard, and be advised as to the advantages for companies seeking to achieve certification.
The symposium is open to anyone with the responsibility for planning, managing risk and sustaining ongoing business performance should a major business interruption occur. It takes place in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, from 8.30am-12.45pm, and costs €175 per person.
As a special offer, there is a free place for a third delegate from the same company. For further details, and for booking, contact Michael Lantry on (01) 6429300; Ext 110
